Application is thin and even, two light coats rather than one heavy one. A thick film-forming coat traps solvent, blushes and peels in sheets.
Any film-forming sealer on a surface that gets wet gets a non-slip additive. A gloss-sealed pool deck or a sealed step without it is genuinely hazardous.
